Conference Scholarships for Pre-Law Advisors
LSAC Scholarships for Pre-Law Advisors at HACU, HBCU, and Tribal Colleges
LSAC funds are available to assist prelaw advisors from HACU, HBCU, and Tribal Colleges attend their regional APLA. Please note: travel subsidies can only be awarded to universities/colleges designated as “HACU/HBCU/TCU”.

NOTE: Applicants who receive LSAC funding after May 23 will only be reimbursed for mileage to and from the conference destination. LSAC will not reimburse you for airplane or train tickets.
If you do not have a username and password to log in to secured section, please email [email protected]. NOTE: To name a different person as the sole/coordinating prelaw advisor for your school, LSAC must receive an official appointment letter from the administrator who is requesting this change or from the sole/coordinating prelaw advisor currently listed in our records. This letter can be mailed or faxed on your school's letterhead or sent via email to [email protected].

PCAPLA Scholarships
PCAPLA may provide up to $300 to pre-law advisors to help defray some expenses involved with the conference. LSAC subsidy-eligible advisors are not eligible for the PCAPLA scholarships. These grants are intended to provide assistance to individuals whose institutions will not provide funding for conference expenses.
Grants may be used to cover some or all of the following expenses:
Potential scholarship recipients do not need to be PCAPLA members in order to apply for the grant, but are required to pay the $50 membership fee in order to receive the grant (after being notified of award). Please note that pre-law advisors may join more than one APLA including associations outside of their region.
Selections will be made by PCAPLA the Scholarship Committee. Notifications of accepted and declined requests will be made on an ongoing basis.
To apply for a PCAPLA scholarship, please complete the application at your earliest convenience. We will accept and review applications on a rolling basis.

- Overnight accommodations in the conference hotel (or lodging of comparable cost if the conference hotel is not available); and/or
- Transportation.
